Brief Overview of Misfit Ranch

Our ranch focuses on raising, breeding, showing and selling quality alpacas and llamas, producing quality fiber for arts & crafts, knitting, felting, etc.

We do occasionally accept reservations for farm visits which include photo opportunities and meet & greets with our animals and visiting our farm store filled with wonderful products made from alpaca!

Misfit Ranch's Philosophy

At Misfit Ranch we strive to continue to improve the breed. We concentrate on conformation and fiber (staple length, crimp, luster, and consistency).

We have both huacaya and suri alpacas and very nice herdsires in both breeds! We love a variety of colors, which make beautiful final products from natural fiber!.

We do have many grey and true black alpacas in our breeding program and have been very pleased with our breeding decisions thus far! Remington, our medium silver grey herdsire has many crias on the ground and all have been grey or rose grey except for 1 dark brown male, and 1 bay black male! We also have several pregnant females due early 2026!
